1. How to request deletion
Open the app, sign in, go to Account/Profile settings, and use the delete account option.
If you cannot access the app or the option is not available, email support@simpletestapp.com from the email linked to your account. We may ask for confirmation to verify that you are the account holder.
If the delete account option does not appear, update the app and try again, or contact support for help.
2. What is deleted or anonymized
After your request is verified, we delete or anonymize account-linked data when technically and legally possible, including:
- your account profile associated with Test - Create quizzes;
- authentication access for that account;
- private quizzes saved in the cloud;
- questions, answers, options, explanations, corrections, hints, or descriptions linked to private cloud quizzes;
- progress, results, statistics, or account-linked activity stored in the cloud;
- collections, tags, languages, and other organization data linked to your account;
- supported backup or sync data;
- app-specific records that are no longer required to operate, secure, or comply with the service.
3. Public or community content
If you published or shared quizzes publicly, that content may be deleted, unpublished, or anonymized depending on the case.
Some public content may remain available in anonymized form or disconnected from your profile to maintain community features, security, history, or service integrity.
We may not be able to remove copies that other users have already downloaded, exported, copied, saved, or shared outside the app.
4. Local device data
Deleting your account does not automatically delete data stored only on your device.
This may include local quizzes, imported files, exported files, generated PDFs, local cache, or local preferences.
You can usually remove local data from the app, by clearing the app storage from your device settings, or by uninstalling the app, depending on your device and settings.
5. Google Play subscriptions and purchases
Deleting your Test - Create quizzes account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
To avoid future charges, you must cancel the subscription through Google Play.
We may retain limited records related to purchases, subscriptions, entitlement verification, support, fraud prevention, billing, or legal compliance when necessary.
6. What may be retained for a limited time
Some records may be retained temporarily when needed for security, fraud prevention, abuse handling, billing validation, purchase records, support, dispute resolution, backups, legal compliance, or technical requirements.
If retention is required, the data is kept only for the minimum period reasonably necessary and is not used for normal product features once the deletion request has been processed.
7. Processing time
Deletion requests are processed as soon as reasonably possible. Many verified requests may be completed within 7 to 30 days, unless additional verification, security review, legal compliance, backups, fraud prevention, or technical requirements require more time.
8. Need help
If you cannot access your account or need help with the deletion process, email support@simpletestapp.com.
Suggested subject: Account deletion request - Test - Create quizzes
Include the email linked to your account, your username if you remember it, and a clear statement that you want to delete your account and associated data.
9. Important note
Account deletion is intended to remove access and account-linked personal data. Content that has been anonymized or aggregated may remain when it can no longer be associated with you.
Deleting your account may permanently remove cloud data, progress, statistics, private quizzes, and account-linked features. Deleted cloud content may not be recoverable.
Local data, exported PDFs, files shared outside the app, and copies saved by other users are not automatically deleted by account deletion.
